Picture 1I took my first Cisco class in 1995 and from there the networking stage was set. Today ConfigBytes will be used primarily for my continued studies in the IT field. As of right now my goal is to eventually obtain my CCIE in routing & switching.

I’ve been working in the IT field for over 15 years, passed my CCNA in 1999 and then let it expire, something I will not let happen again. I now hold the current 640-802, completely different exam then one I took several years ago. The name Configbytes comes was loosely derived from the old IC cookbook days. Anyone who dabbled in integrated chips, had a IC cookbook on their desk. The intention of the site is to help anyone looking to configure it out one byte at a time.
